Subject: chromium-browser: copyright file says it is DEP-5, but is not.
Date: Sat, 8 May 2010 17:36:15 +0200
[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: chromium-browser
Version: 5.0.375.29~r46008-2
Severity: minor

The File sections contain files in braces, for example:
	src/app/{resource_bundle.cc,resource_bundle.h,resource_bundle_dummy.cc,win_util.h}

This is invalid, the correct variant would be:
        src/app/resource_bundle.cc, src/app/resource_bundle.h,
        src/app/resource_bundle_dummy.cc, src/app/win_util.h

Furthermore, it uses invalid names in the license field:
	Apache (v2.0)        => Apache-2.0
	BSD (3 clause) => BSD (guessed)
	BSD (2 clause) => FreeBSD (guessed)
	MIT/X11 (BSD like)   => Expat
	LGPL (v2 or later)   => LGPL-2.0+
	LGPL (v2.1 or later) => LGPL-2.1+
	MPL 1.1/GPL 2.0/LGPL 2.1 => MPL-1.1 or GPL-2.0 or LGPL-2.1
        GPL 2.0/LGPL 2.1/MPL 1.1 tri-license => (same as previous)
	Public Domain => (Should be stated in the copyright
                                 field, but currently the license
                                 field is still required. DEP-5
                                 is thus a bit broken)

and others. There are stand-alone license sections for custom
license, but DEP-5 does not seem to define that such sections
are allowed for licenses without a standard short name. Furthermore,
it makes parsing and interpreting the file harder.
