Hi,

Your package failed to autobuild in kfreebsd-{i386,amd64} and hurd-i386.
The tail of the build log follows:

> /usr/bin/fakeroot debian/rules clean
> QUILT_PATCHES=debian/patches quilt --quiltrc /dev/null pop -a -R || test $?
> = 2 No patch removed
> rm -rf .pc debian/stamp-patched
> dh_testdir
> dh_testroot
> rm -f build-stamp configure-stamp
> # Add here commands to clean up after the build process.
> /usr/bin/make clean
> make[1]: Entering directory `/build/buildd/softgun-0.18'
> config.mk:24: *** Unknown architecture. Stop.
> make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/softgun-0.18'
> make: *** [clean] Error 2
> dpkg-buildpackage: error: /usr/bin/fakeroot debian/rules clean gave error
> exit status 2

Please remember that kfreebsd-i386 and kfreebsd-amd64 are now release
architectures and failure to build on those is considered release critical.

Cheers,

That is pretty easy to fix, it's just about the byteorder.h defines.
However, softgun still fails on both Hurd and kFreeBSD due to

make[2]: Entering directory `/home/mbanck/src/softgun-0.18/tools'
gcc -Wall -O9 -g -fomit-frame-pointer tunctl.c -o sg_tunctl
tunctl.c:14:26: error: linux/if_tun.h: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht

function)
make[2]: *** [sg_tunctl] Fehler 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/mbanck/src/softgun-0.18/tools'

Seems like much more porting is required for 0.18.

Hi,

the tunctl.c should build helper binary, which is used only on linux,
see guarding in linux-tap.c.

So, IMHO, just skip this dir.

The rest is straigforward, see attached patch.
Build-tested on kfreebsd-amd64.

Not if they've never built there, only if there's a
regression. Downgrading to important instead.
