On closing dia, after a project has been modified and the changes not manually saved, the toolbox window and the save reminder fail to close after clicking on the save button.
After manually saving changes, and attempting to close dia from the toolbox window or the diagram window, the toolbox window stays open until clicking the "force close" button
on the error window.

Can you please retry with dia >=0.97.1-3 in Debian? Or include a hint
how I can reproduce it.
Thanks,

I'm using the same version of dia that you are. I created a database
diagram of tables and columns using the default database objects and
lines, and saved it. That's all I did to produce the problem.
To reproduce the errors all I have to do is modify the project and try
to save it.

Hmmm.... I just installed dia on another Debian machine and it works
fine. This bug must be python-related on my laptop, which is where I
have the problem with dia. I've had other odd python-related errors on
it but didn't associate this bug with those problems until dia worked
fin on another machine. I guess I'm just going to have to reinstall the
OS on that machine to get rid of the bugs as the number, and type, of
python-related errors make it very difficult to troubleshoot.
So, just go ahead and close this bug report.
