I have a Wacom Intuos3 tablet, to which I recently added an artpen, in addition to the normal pen. It is not recognized as a new device, and xsetwacom lists only the ERASER, CURSOR, PAD, and one STYLUS.

As far as I understand it, the wacom driver reports the different pens by the
serial number of the pen. They still report through the STYLUS and ERASER
devices. I do not know what tools can demonstrate the change of the pen.

As long as the art pen gives you basic functionality, I'd suggest checking the
linuxwacom-discuss list for advice on testing and using it.

Hi Olivier,

So far as I can see here, this is just a misunderstanding of how additional
pens should work, and not an actual bug?

I'm closing it here now on that basis, but if there is a real problem, then
please feel free to followup and correct me on that.

Cheers,
Ron
