Subject: audacious: Playlist window movement and resize buggy

Package: audacious
Version: 1.5.1-4
Severity: normal

This is the first time I'm using audacious (previously I used xmms
but it doesn't seem to be packaged anymore) and I'm running into a
few problems. This bug report is about two problems with the
playlist window event handling. I'm running it in GNOME with no
window manager decorations (the default mode) but it seems likely
that other desktops are also affected.

First, if you click to move the window, then drag and release the
mouse button over another window (such as the desktop bar or system
menu), audacious will continue to think you have the button pressed
so it will move itself whenever the pointer is over one of its
window borders.

Second, by doing the same thing during a resize, is possible to
break the window in such a way that the bottom buttons
(+FILE/-FILE ... LOAD LIST, and the resize area) are cut-off.
You can see the first pixel or two of them at the bottom of the
window but the rest of them are past the end of the playlist window.

Either I'm not understanding what you mean or it's not acting the same
way on my system. Can you please test with version 2.1 or 2.3 and take
a short video of the behavior if it is still the same?

Peace,
John Lindgren
