this only worked in earlier versions because of a hackish proof-of-concept
patch i included in previous versions of ltsp, and i removed it because
additional code for NBD support was added to newer versions of ltsp, which is
even harder to port to kfreebsd.
the patches are still shipped in the current package in a disabled state, if a
kfreebsd porter would like to tackle those issues and submit better patches,
though the L in LTSP does stand for Linux. :)
for the moment, i submitted a request for ftpmasters to remove ltsp-client*
packages for kfreebsd: http://bugs.debian.org/568188
