Subject: Gnucash 2.2.9-3 has no graphing support
Date: Thu, 28 Jan 2010 00:21:35 +0100
Package: gnucash
Version: 2.2.9-3
Severity: important

As of 2.2.9-3 the Gnucash package in Debian has no graphing support any
more. I've done this as a temporary measure and in order to fix some
more important build errors (#498775).

This issue is only necessary for Gnucash 2.2.9, so as soon as a new
upstream release is ready for upload, graphing will get re-enabled again.

Regards
  Micha

severity 567208 serious
thanks

I decided to set a release critical severity for this bug because I
think Gnucash without graphing support should not migrate to testing at
this stage without discussion.

If anybody wants this version into testing despite its broken graphing
support, please contribute your arguments. It is easy and fast to lower
this bug's severity at needs.

I intend to fix this bug some time by uploading Gnucash 2.3.8, which
upstream considers to be unstable. However in terms of maintenance for
Squeeze it might be a better bet than the current 'stable' release
2.2.9. (And by chance we might get a new stable upstream release in time
for Squeeze...)

  Micha
