Package: epiphany-browser
Version: 2.29.5-3
Severity: minor
Hi,
a few weeks (days?) ago, Epiphany still used to accepts a middle click anywhere on the web page, which would paste the URL from the PRIMARY X11 selection into the address bar. That was very handy to open an URL into an existing window.
That stopped working recently. Could you please add that feature back ?
Thanks a lot,
Xav

There were changes in this regard, but they should not cause the problem
you are having. Can you check whether you have the autoscroll extension
turned on, and if it works with it disabled?
Thanks,

The enabled extensions are "adblock" and "certificates" (their names are
in French). The autoscrolling is disabled.
BTW I have two extensions which say, in a slightly similar language,
that they enabled a scrolling with a middle mouse click. One is
"automatic scrolling", the other is something like "mouse scrolling".

Subject: epiphany-browser: double middle-click will paste URL
Date: Wed, 31 Mar 2010 14:23:37 -0700
Package: epiphany-browser
Version: 2.29.92-1
Severity: normal
i have /apps/epiphany/general/middle_click_open_url set to true,
but its behavior changed after a recent upgrade from epiphany-gecko
to the epiphany-webkit version. previously a single middle-click
served to paste a url in tab or window. this no longer works, but
a double-click now seems to perform this function. i do not have the
autoscroll extension enabled.
thank you.
