Tried to build your package and it fails to build with GNU binutils-gold. The
important difference is that --no-add-needed is the default behavior of of GNU
binutils-gold. Please provide all needed libraries to the linker when building

[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
I see two things here. The immediate problem is a defect in gnutls's
pkg-config script, which does not list the dependency.

The other is that when building without pkg-config, lynx is using -lcrypt
rather than -lgcrypt (I'll modify that, but it won't fix the problem you've
reported, so this ought to be reassigned to gnutls).

I built the package with binutils-gold (on a system
in VirtualBox) and found no problem anymore.

It seems generated makefile used -lgcrypt now and it
worked fine for me.

So I close this. If I misunderstand something, please
reopen this. Thanks.
