dpkg -W <TAB>

offers dpkg options, not files.

When I start to type a filename it cannot be completed.

This gets in the way of using dpkg, it's worse than leaving the
completion alone (completing only files).

The dpkg package does not provide bash completion, reassigning to the
proper package.

Fixed upstream, thanks. Will be included in the next package revision.
