Subject: dialog: --infobox doesn't work well in an xterm
Date: 15 Jan 2000 08:24:15 -0000
Package: dialog
Version: 0.9a-20000101-1
Severity: normal

--infobox is almost useless in an xterm, because dialog writes to the
other screen xterm makes available, and switches back on exit. Thus, the
infobox that was just displayed disappears.

I don't know if this is doable with slang, but in theory, --infobox
shouldn't do that -- instead, it should write directly to stdout, without
switching screens. Then when it exits, the infobox display would remain on
screen, as it is meant to.

This should be fixed in dialog_0.9a-20000118-1, now in potato.

Thanks a lot.
