Package: bash
Version: 4.0-4

Hello,
I have upgraded my bash from version 3 to versin 4 and the bash-completion stoped working.
When I try to complete a name which contains a space in it's name, it doesn't work.

If I have file with name "example for example" and I type ex and then press Tab-key, it completes the whole word, the thing is, that, whenever I'm in situation, I have two similar names of files and I have to type in the space and then the bash won't complete anything.

For example...I have two files in directory "The.example" and "The example"...then if I want to acces one of those, I have to type the whole name. If I type "The\ " and then press Tab-key, nothing happens.

It works just fine if I do a "complete -r ls" before trying it.

I am using Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.30-1-686

Best regards and have a nice day
Honza with helpful help of Pivnik
