Hello,

I'm willing to maintain the packaging of telldus-core. I see upstream already has their own debian/ubuntu repository. Micke, would it still be interesting to get telldus-core into the main debian archive or are you content with your own infrastructure? Anyway, the debian archive is currently in deep freeze, so it won't be until Squeeze is released.

BR,
 Stefan

Hello,

Stefan, it is still interesting. I think it belongs in the main debian archive
and debian users shouldn't need to use the upstream repository.

The upstream repo is better suited for other debian based distributions that
have not yet included telldus-core.

What do you need from me Stefan?

/Micke

Hi. Any progress with this ITP to get the telldus tools into Debian?
I just gone myself one of the sticks, and would love to have the
control software available in Debian. :)

I notice the license is GPL (v2 for the stable version and v3 for the
unstable version), and find this very good. :)

The upstream ubuntu repository seem to lack source packages. Micke,
perhaps these can be made available?

Happy hacking,

I missed the reply from Micke (wasnt subscribed to the bug :S), so I've
had the ITP on hold... I'll do this soon. Meanwhile, the software is
easily installed from their own repository, so it would be important to
keep these in sync to avoid confusion.

The sources are here:

http://download.telldus.se/debian/pool/stable/

For example
http://download.telldus.se/debian/pool/stable/telldus-core_2.0.4.orig.tar.gz
Or here:
http://download.telldus.se/debian/pool/unstable/telldus-gui_2.0.104.orig.tar.gz

Did you use some other repository?

BR,
 Stefan

The published package fails to build from source for me. See

I used this repository, but do not find any .dsc files, nor do the
telldus-core_2.1.1.orig.tar.gz file contain any debian/ directory with
build rules.
