We, Debian Games, request an adopter for the gnome-chess package. If nobody
adopt the package in the 3 comming months, we'll ask ftp-master to remove
the package from the archive.

The package is/was maintained in the Debian Games Team, we would prefere the
new maintainer to do so.

The package description is:
 This package contains GNOME Chess, a graphical user interface for playing
 chess and displaying PGN files.
 .
 It works with different chess programs and servers. It works best with
 the chess engine Crafty, but most features should also work with GNU Chess.

I will soon retitle this bug to "o: gnome-chess...", this is what the games 
group intended. Reasons:

- There are 9 bugs against that package, 1 important. The others are more or 
less also urgent.
- There are similar packages in the distribution, that do the same work eg: 
scid, eboard, pychess
- The person that did the ITA did not do so in 3 Months. Carlos Eduardo Sotelo
