Package: ippl
Version: 1.4.14-11
Severity: important

ippl process segfaults every few days or weeks, after which it requires
restarting.

Here you are the entries from kern.log:

This is on an other system that I'm submitting the bugreport from (on
which the mail subsystem is configured to deliver only local mail, so I
can't easily submit it from there).
OTOH, on _this_ system I have no issue with ippl.

On the problematic system I have no similar problems with other daemons,
so it doesn't look like a bad RAM or so.

If there's something I can do to give you more details, please don't
hesitate to write me.

Thank you in advance

Can you rebuild with debug symbols and send a backtrace?

Greetings
Marc

You don't even need to rebuild, there is an ippl-dbg package. Anyway,
I will need help to debug this as I am not good enough in C and ippl
upstream is gone.

Greetings
Marc
