Subject: xserver-xorg-video-r128: ATI Rage VR PR not detected by r128 on Imac G3
Date: Mon, 31 Aug 2009 15:07:52 +0200
Package: xserver-xorg-video-r128
Version: 6.8.1-1
Severity: important

Bonjour,
with the latest dist-upgrade (sid PPC), xorg r128 driver failed to
detect the Imac G3 ATI Rage 128 Pro VR PR and thus start xorg.

r128 used to handle this system pretty nicely, when using the "forcepci mode"
and "usefbdev" set to false. I tried to change parameters in xorg,
commenting in/out, including PCI Id, FBDev, pci mode ... No luck so far.
For now, the system seems to run nicely on FBDev, very slowly however.
