Message #5 received at submit@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Package: audacious
Version: 2.0.1-1
Severity: normal
--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
I don't understand why this bug (described e.g. on
http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs-closed@lists.debian.org/msg188605.html)
is marked as done, when the problem still exists.
Steps to reproduce:
Let fix the audacious value, eg. to 50%;
At the system mixer, change the volume at selected device (e.g.
/amixer set PCM 30%);
/Check whether Audacious volume slider didn't change.
/ /Active again the main Audacious window and press Up key (or
scroll up mouse wheel) to increase volume by one step: 2% in my settings.
See that this is increase from 50%, not from the actual PCM
value: scrolling up by one step increased actual volume by 22%! This is
very annoying.
My device settings:
Output plugin: ALSA
(output_plugin=/usr/lib/audacious/Output/libALSA.so)
Audio device: default; (pcm_device=default)
Mixer card: SB Live! 5.1 [SB0220] (mixer_card=0)
Mixer device: PCM. (mixer_device=PCM)
Regards and sorry for my poor English
Tomasz
