Package: audacious
Version: 1.5.1-4
Severity: normal

Playing back a long .ogg file (but well before it gets to 99m59s, see
my other bug!), if I try to skip backwards in the playback then the
displayed time skips back 5s but the audio output itself doesn't
change: it carries on from where it was.

Hello Steve,

I have a few questions about your bug report. Sorry for the slow
response; there's a *huge* backlog of Audacious bugs in the Debian
tracker.

About how long does a file need to be for you to see this behavior? 10
minutes? 30 minutes? An hour?

Does seeking work correctly if you skip backwards more than 5 seconds,
or if you skip forwards?

Does the problem happen only with vorbis files, or with other types as
well?

Do you still see this problem in version 2.1-1?

Thank you,
John Lindgren

At the time I could reliably trigger it using an ogg file that was 158
minutes long but not with any other formats. But now I can't reproduce
it using that same file, which suggests there might be more complexity
to triggering the problem. If I see the problem again, I'll be sure to
take more notes at the time.

Thanks!

Closing as no one has reproduced this for over a year.
