audacious shows the playlist more or less correctly, but all other 
visual components, especially the main window, and the equalizer ar 
completely unusable:
The main window shows only the top 4 or 5 pixels, the rest is not 
painted
The equalizer is once painted, but than no longer re-painted.

In the .xsession-error file I get a lot of the following errors:
GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_copy_area: assertion `src_pixbuf != 
NULL` failed

I think this started when GTK was updated, so I suppose an update to the 
new version would fix this problem.

Hi Andreas,

If it is a problem with the new GTK version, then rebuilding Audacious
from source against that version should fix it. Can you try that?
