Cause:
the single quote in line 143 (
@files = glob("'$c_imagespath'"."/".$c_pattern);
) yield an empty array.

I downloaded the package Galrey 1.0.2-3 on Lenny.  It worked only after
I managed to fix it with the solution offered by ibu <ibu@radempa.de>.
