The current maintainer of xdrawchem, Warren Stramiello <stramiello@debian.org>,
is apparently not active anymore. Therefore, I orphan this package now.

Maintaining a package requires time and skills. Please only adopt this
package if you will have enough time and attention to work on it.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see
http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

We already maintained it in the past and will adopt it then officially.

Hi Sandro,

are you claiming that the people listed in uploaders are MIA as well, or
is this (only looking at Maintainer) simply the current practise of the
QA team?

Michael

I orphaned this package in agreement with Warren, given no uploads
since May 2007.

If this somehow disturbed you, please accept my apologize, and close
this wnpp bugs, removing Warren from maint/uploaders field.

retitle 513160 O: xdrawchem -- Chemical structures and reactions editor
noowner 513160
thanks

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of xdrawchem back from ITA
(Intent to Adopt) to O (Orphaned), because this bug hasn't seen any activity
during the last 12 months.

If you are still interested in adopting xdrawchem, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

retitle 513160 ITA: xdrawchem -- Chemical structures and reactions editor
 owner 513160 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITA for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
adopting the package. It is also a good idea to document your progress on this
ITA from time to time, by mailing <513160@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,
