Package: audacious
Version: 1.5.1-4
Severity: normal
*** Please type your report below this line ***
Audacious is the main cause for CPU wake-ups and as such the fans never
stop when Audacious is running. This happens both when playing and when
being paused.
Powertop output:
23.5% (109.5) audacious : schedule_timeout (process_timeout)
22.0% (102.5) <interrupt> : extra timer interrupt
20.7% ( 96.6) audacious : futex_wait (hrtimer_wakeup)
10.0% ( 46.8) <interrupt> : HDA Intel
4.9% ( 22.8) opera : schedule_timeout (process_timeout)
4.6% ( 21.4) <kernel IPI> : Rescheduling interrupts
2.5% ( 11.5) postgres : schedule_timeout (process_timeout)
2.1% ( 10.0) <kernel core> : ehci_work (ehci_watchdog)
Most probably a bug to be forwarded upstream.

In 2.1-1, visualization timeout is reduced from 100/s to 30/s (or
disabled completely if visualization is turned off). Upstream, audio
buffer fill timeout is also reduced from 100/s to 20/s.

Testing has Audacious 2.1-1, isn't the problem fixed in that version?
If thats true then this bug should be closed.
Thanks!!!
