Hello
PHP, PEAR and PECL seem to have agreed upon a ".phpt" format for automated
unit test scripts. It would be nice if the run-tests.php script that is
auto generated by phpize would be available in /usr/bin, too, maybe as
"php-run-tests" so self written tests could be tested as well.
bye,
-christian-

Hi,
Even if the script is installed under /usr/bin it won't work as-is.
It is designed to be copied to a local, writeable, directory.
If you really want to see this happen then try it by yourself: copy run-
tests.php to /usr/local/bin and try to use it (and of course, report the bugs
to upstream, preferably with patches.)
However, don't expect much help from upstream to fix the bugs, as there are
plans to replace run-tests with an OO replacement.
Cheers,
