Yes, but I've never had much luck with GNOME looking at bug reports.

I just filed a bug report with them and attached this program:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=561582

Do you think I should file a bug report on the gnome-keyring package in
Debian to see if the maintainer would include this as a patch?

I think it is better way to go than introducing new package for this.

noowner 505633
thanks

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of gnome-keyring-query back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 18 months.

If you are still interested in adopting gnome-keyring-query, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

retitle 505633 ITP: gnome-keyring-query -- Command-line utility for querying GNOME Keyring
 owner 505633 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <505633@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,
