Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of adms back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 18 months.

If you are still interested in adopting adms, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

retitle 501264 ITP: adms -- An automatic device model synthesizer
 owner 501264 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <501264@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,

Subject: Update regarding packaging of adms
Date: Mon, 01 Jul 2013 08:29:05 +0200
Hello,
I would like to inform prospective people working or wanting to work on
packaging adms that I have a preliminary version prepared for Ubuntu.
Links to LaunchPad:
https://launchpad.net/~torsknod/+archive/ppa-experimental
https://code.launchpad.net/~torsknod/+junk/adms-package

I will use this together with an updated ngspice.
The packageI prepared is currently not in a good shape but working. I have
contacted the project owner Sergey Ivlenkov to include some fixes to his tar.gz
distribution to get mostly lintian clean and simplify some things.

Regards
     Torsten

retitle -1 ITP: adms -- An automatic device model synthesizer

thanks

They have some legal problem, about packaging adms:
- some clarification of upstream copyright (freescale seems to hold
the copyright as work for hire)
- some license problem about the vams file

Upstream is willing to help here and I am think it will be in good shape.

So I ITP, when the legal problems are settled

Bastien
