Package: audacious
Version: 1.5.1-4
Severity: normal
When I open an mp3 playlist from magnatune like [0], audacious plays all the
tracks. But when I use the vorbis version like [1], audacious just hangs.

Do you mean a upstream version which I compile myself or the Debian
package from sid?
I tried to install the package, but since I have only Lenny installed
without success. Should I compile the source myself?
What happens when you open the URLs?
Regards
Stephan

I meant compiling the Sid package; however, now that I try that myself
(on Squeeze), I see that the bug is still present. With the Sid version,
Audacious hangs for quite a while trying and failing to play each song
in the playlist (though it eventually finishes), with the following
output:
$ audacious2 http://magnatune.com/artists/albums/costlow-reconstruction/ogg.m3u

Upstream devel version (also compiled from source) starts playing the
first song immediately but takes a few seconds to retrieve all the track
titles and show the playlist. It does show a couple of errors, but they
seem to have no effect on playback:
