I have followed the package soqt and I have seen the work done on it. Thanks 
for solve the issues with qt4. 

When the soqt4 version was done, you commented me that some example failed
(the application crased). I could reproduce it (the simple example in the
coin3d  page) but I thought that it was to some problem with my
configuration (I was  migrating from etch to lenny, because I was doing some
experiments with qt4). Also, with some of my apps I was not be able to
reproduce it.

The summer has gone, and I have found another bug: it's not possible to
change the visualization mode in an scene using right click. Also, I have
reproduced the previous bug in another box, so I was a bit worried about the situation.

My last month have been a bit crazy, and today I have had a bit of time to
look a bit inside both bugs, and I have understood what was going.

Bug 1: the example of soqt crash

The Trolltech people change a bit how to send the arguments (when you launch 
an app) to their internal structures (more problematic on qt 4.X) , and the 
Sim people didn't know (I guess ..) it when they released the SoQt 1.4.1
lib. But, some time after they solved the issue, and it's solved in the svn.

Bug 2: the menus in soqt and qt4.4 doesn't work. 

In soqt you can change the view mode from a menus in the scene. This menus 
doesn't work on the version of lenny because of Qt4.4. Also, it's solved in 
svn ....

I would like to have SoQt in lenny, but now the lenny version have two ugly 
bugs. Probably no RC (well, the examples crash ....), so I have tagged the
bug as important. I can only say that the svn version (from today) compiles 
perfectly in amd64 and solve all this issues. I don't know if the release 
managers will accept a new version of the package, or we have to patch the 
needed files solve the problem.

I have traced down the sources, and comparing the original one (1.4.1) with 
the svn, and taking only the bug part, I have found differences in some 
files (2 or 3). So, I have incorporated this to the debian package. And, now 
I can compile the examples, and the menus works again (as preveious
versions).

I attach the patch file. Doesn't take care about the changelog of debian
directory (it was a test). Now, you can compile and execute the examples and it
doesn't crash, and the menus work again.

Please, apply it before lenny.

Please, the bug is closed, upgrade the need version to Lenny. The package
more or less is working but the library has an important feature unusable
because the bug (the right click menus). Also, all the simple examples 
crash (not the complex, using a qapp. 

All the job is done, please let us to have a good version of this lib in
Lenny.
