[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: xdmx
Version: 2:1.4.2-3
Severity: important

Given is a setup like this:

+----+----+----+----+
| x1 | x2 | x3 | x4 |
+----+----+----+----+
| x5 | x6 | x7 | x8 |
+----+----+----+----+

8 Monitors, each with it's own pc, called x1-x8, all running latest sid,
and a seperate pc running the xdmx binary.
Some are prefixed with "neu", just ignore this part, it's just because I
swapped some hardware.

I start xdmx with a commandline like
Xdmx :1 -configfile xdmx.conf -config wall0 +xinerama -input x8:0 -noreset -ac

Now, screens 1-3, 5-8 are no problems, I can reach every point with the mouse.
On screen 4, there seems to be a boundary at about 800 pixels counted from the top I can't get below with
the mouse, and screen 8 is not reachable at all (coming from screen 7, the mouse just moves to the upper
left corner of screen 8 and stays there when trying to move it to the left/down).

When using "input x1:0", the pointer is caught in the upper left corner of screen 1 and I can move it
nowhere, additionally, when trying to move it I get errors on the commandline.

Attached you find three files, the xdmx.conf, and two logs (for -input x1:0 and x8:0).

Thanks,
Moritz

Subject: mouse boundaries bug/problem

Hi,

have you had any luck solving this problem? I'm experiencing a similar
problem with 4 screens only. I've got two boxes with 2 tft's each using
twinview. The resolutions are correctly detected, but the mouse is stuck
on the upper half on the left 2 screens and just in the upper left
corner of the right two screens.

greetings
Fabian
