[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: gpm
Version: 1.20.3~pre3-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Up to kernel 2.6.24 gpm behaves as expected. After an upgrade to
2.6.25 there is no longer a mouse cursor, but when issuing
/etc/init.d/gpm restart
no error message is printed. In /var/log/messages I also see "Started
gpm successfully. Entered daemon mode". But the mouse is not visible,
nothing happens when I press the button(s).
Downgrading (rebooting) into kernel <= 2.6.24 resolves the problem.
Please tell me which other information you need and I'll gladly
provide it.

Hello,
since there was no activity and a new kernel version (2.6.26) was out,
I retried using gpm under that kernel version and it seems to work
(only tried it briefly, but in 2.6.25 the failure was imminent). Hence
closing. Not using version information, since it was not closed by
changes in gpm but in the kernel.
Greetings
Helge
