* Package name    : ite
 Version         : 3.1
 Upstream Author : Wolfgang Kuehn <wolfgang@decatur.de>
* URL             :
http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/support/ite/index.html
* License         : GPL (2 or later)
 Programming Lang: Perl, elisp, LaTeX, TeX, postscript
 Description : Interactive graphics layout in (La)TeX

 iTe is an easy to use, interactive authoring tool for (La)TeX
 documents. With iTe, it is possible to select arbitrary display
 fragments such as figures, equations, labels, captions, etc.
 These fragments can then be freely moved, rotated and scaled.

----
I have preliminary packages at:
http://sites.google.com/site/ralexowen/debian-packages

Upstream has released 2 zip files. I have packaged the "user release"
ite_3_1.zip and not the "developer release" ite_3_1_src.zip

My intention is to repackage based on the developer release then to
seek a sponsor to upload the packages.

Regards
Alex Owen

retitle 492651 RFP: ite -- Interactive graphics layout in (La)TeX
noowner 492651
thanks

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of ite back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 18 months.

If you are still interested in adopting ite, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

 retitle 492651 ITP: ite -- Interactive graphics layout in (La)TeX
 owner 492651 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <492651@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,

Lucas, for the QA team
