Package: silc
Version: 1.1.4-1+b1
Severity: normal

Hi there,
I get seemingly random crashes with silc client.
This happens without an obvious reason.
Minding my business, talking about secure sorts of things, and get this crash.

The error shown is:

 silc: silcunixthread.c:147: silc_mutex_lock: Assertion
`(pthread_mutex_lock(&mutex->mutex) == 0)' failed.
Aborted

This is on a debian sparc system, running testing/lenny.
Kernel is 2.6.18-6-vserver-sparc64

Thanks,
