The ecryptfs-utils debian/control file contains several dependencies
which are not necessary. Could we please remove or soften these
dependencies?
* libtspi-dev [i386]: trousers/TPM support
* libopencryptoki-dev [i386]: opencryptoki support
* libgtk2.0-dev: the gui is disabled (--disable-gui)
I'm attaching a suggested patch.

this is a left-over when opencryptoki wasn't available everywhere
(except s390). the next upload will fix this, so that ecryptfs-utils is
build everywhere with trousers support (except s390).

right.. this can, for the moment, go. thanks.

Hmm, I was actually asking to remove the trousers and opencryptoki build
dependencies ;-)
Is there any way to soften the dependency? The equivalent of
"Suggests", but for the build?

for built-time package releations, one either depends on them, or
nothing at all.
