audacious is unable to play m3u-playlists which consist
of one filename per line:

This bug is the same as the archived one (#272684) for beep-media-player.

Have you tried upgrading your audacious-plugins package to
1.5.1-something? Apparently this should have been done automatically but
wasn't:

My version is currently 1.5.1-4 and the bug does no longer appear. I
tried several m3u-playlists and all load fine.
