Subject: ITP: librt-client-console-perl -- Talk to RT installation using REST protocol.

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : librt-client-console-perl
  Version         : 0.36
  Upstream Author : Damien "dams" Krotkine <dams@cpan.org>
* URL             : http://search.cpan.org/~dams/RT-Client-REST-0.36/lib/RT/Client/REST.pm
* License         : GPL
  Programming Lang: Perl
  Description : Talk to RT installation using REST protocol.

  RT::Client::REST is /usr/bin/rt converted to a Perl module. I needed to implement some RT
  interactions from my application, but did not feel that invoking a shell command is appropriate.
  Thus, I took rt tool, written by Abhijit Menon-Sen, and converted it to an object-oriented Perl
  module.

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of librt-client-console-perl back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 18 months.

If you are still interested in adopting librt-client-console-perl, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

 retitle 487450 ITP: librt-client-console-perl -- Talk to RT installation using REST protocol
 owner 487450 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <487450@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,

retitle 487450 RFP: librt-client-console-perl -- text based RT console

Hi

This ITP/RFP was a bit confusing. Looking at the package line it was
meant for librt-client-console-perl, but upsteram link was for
librt-client-rest-perl.

Note: librt-client-rest-perl is now already packaged, and was closed
[1].
