when audacious is launched,it does not detect the lentgths of mp3 or ogg files at
all and hows length as 00:00. Also fails to play music. same files can eb played
with mpg123 or ogg123 correctly.

It appears that this is due to a misbehaving Monkey's Audio Plugin. Try
disabling that and see what happens.

2.0.1 plays both .ogg's and .mp3's fine. (If not for you, try clearing
$HOME/.config/audacious).
