Subject: modutils: Documentation weakness
Date: Tue, 26 Oct 1999 14:34:20 +0100 (BST)
Package: modutils
Version: 2.3.6-3
Severity: normal

The manual page for update-modules doesn't state that the program (sensibly)
ignores files of the form *.dpkg-{dist,old,etc...} and *~.

I was worried that these files would be a problem, until I read the source
and realised it's OK.

Jules
