Message #5 received at submit@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Package: audacious
Version: 1.5.0-2
Severity: important
After upgrading to new audacious package, it won't play music.
Playlist is loaded, but when I try to start playing the music (either
through GUI or through the -p/-t options), it seems to start playing,
but immediately stops, whithout any error message.

Message #10 received at 483106@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
It seems the problem comes from my playlist which contains
2071 songs, that audacious 1.4 handled without problems, and that
blocks 1.5
With a smaller playlist, it works.

Hi,
I had the same problem, even with a single mp3-file in the playlist.
Just delete (or rename) ~/.config/audacious/
Probably the old config is incompatible with the new audacious version.
Maybe this should be done automatically.. or there should at least be
a message when audacious is upgraded.
Cheers,
- Daniel

Okay to close this bug? It's unfortunate that it was never fixed, but by
this time, I don't expect that many people are updating *to* 1.5.0-2
anymore.
Regards,
John Lindgren
