Bug#477935; Package schroot.
(full text, mbox, link).
Message #3 received at submit@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: schroot
Version: 1.1.6-1
Severity: wishlist
If the setup.d scripts exit non-zero, the chroot is nevertheless
terminated. It would be nice to have a way to prevent that. E.g. if
a script exits 230 or the like, then schroot should roll back (run
scripts with setup-start with a higher number) and chroot back into
the directory.
There are two reasons for this:
- I might be using the chroot for some elaborate test work and
accidentally hit exit, losing all I did.
- The git backend method I am currently developing should prevent
the chroot from exiting if there are uncommitted changes.
Thanks,
