php5-gtk2 allows a PHP developer to use the Gtk+ graphical user
interface library.

The Gtk+ is a multi-platform toolkit for creating graphical user
interfaces. Offering a complete set of widgets, the Gtk+ is suitable
for projects ranging from small one-off tools to complete
application suites.

These php bindings follow the C API very closely, and the C reference
documentation should be considered the canonical source:

Description mostly taken from libgtk2-perl. I'm not a DD and would be
seeking a sponsor (I know several local DD's so shouldn't be a problem).
