i'm lowering the severity on this bug report, because the justification
is inappropriate- it doesn't render the package unuseable in most or all
cases, only with uk english keyboards.

and... could you please include *some* information beyond the subject
line?

could you also test and make sure that whatever the problem might be is
still present in the ltsp packages in sid?

if you can't test with the packages in sid, please try and test with the
backported packages, instructions at:

  http://wiki.debian.org/LTSP/Howto

look for the section mentioning backports.

thanks.

after installing the ltsp-server i run the ltsp-client-build. that is where the problem arises. i did carry on with the how to guide with no luck, the client wont boot as the file is missing. i havent tested it on sid or tried to backport it either yet. will try sid sometime over the next few days.

i'm guessing you mean "ltsp-build-client".

yes, when the install fails, it will not usually boot.

that would be useful.

clearly, for some reason related to the symlink,
xserver-xorg-input-wacom failed to install.

did you have an existing LTSP environment already, or attempt to install
LTSP before and fail?

if you "mv /opt/ltsp/i386 /opt/ltsp/i386.old" and then re-run
ltsp-build-client, does it fail in the same way?

did you pass ltsp-build-client any commandline options?
