The same was reported at https://launchpad.net/bugs/188845, but the VNC protocol
doesn't allow passwords longer than 8 characters. I've asked Jonh Wendell
whether vinagre shouldn't limit it since you aren't creating the password in it,
so perhaps the limit should be in the applications where you create them, but he
said that gtk-vnc will only read the first 3 characters, so it would be stupid
to allow more than 8 characters in Vinagre if they are going to be truncated.
