Simply updating the liblzo-dev build-dependency to liblzo2-dev seems to
solve the problem without any further adjustments needed.
To generate a proper clean diff on rebuilds, Makefile.dep and dact.conf
needs to be removed when cleaning.

Just changing the build-deps fails silently because configure can't
find lzo, and thus it disables that support. You need to change the
autoconfigure scripts to find the right library and link again it.
dpatch attached.

Note, after changing applying the patch, you need to add a
CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/include/lzo to the rules. The final configure script
becomes:

        CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/include/lzo ./configure --disable-modules
--enable-debianupgrade --prefix=\$${DESTDIR}
--mandir=\$${prefix}/usr/share/man --exec-prefix=\$${prefix}/usr
--datadir=\$${prefix}/usr/lib --libdir=\$${prefix}/usr/lib/dact

I'm willing to do an NMU to save you some work for this update.
