Package: audacious
Version: 1.4.6-2
Severity: important
Audacious becomes unusable after some hours: it makes Xorg taking 100 %

Hi,
Are you absolutely sure this is a bug in audacious? This doesn't happen
here. Seems to me that it would be a bug in the XServer.
What is your proof that the bug is actually in audacious? Audacious
could just be tickling a bug in the XServer.

Maybe.

I've no proof, except the problem only exists with Audacious.
If I restart Audacious, everything go back to normal until some hours of
playing.

Message #27 received at 465599@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Audacious has suddenly ( maybe update related ) started taking up 100%
of cpu time but doesn't play music or anything else.
I have to kill it every time. When it first loads it sits idle..but when
asked to play an mp3 it just starts sucking up cpu time.
I am running version 1.5.1-3 on Sid. The plugins however are still at
1.5.1-2

Hi Frank,
Usually it would be good to open a new bug report rather than adding to
one that's already been closed. That said, can you give a link to the
file that's causing the problem or email it to me?
