I looked at the changes listed in debhelper 6 and this package and don't see any that are relevant.  Raising the version 
requirement interferes with backporting the current clamtk.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been in contact with upstream for other issues,
not concerning this bug. Upstream is going to release a new version (3.08) very
soon; I'll fix this as soon as I package it.
