Message #5 received at submit@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
Package: audacious
Version: 1.4.5-1
Severity: important
I usually have audacious at the top-left of the screen. Usually it is
rolled-up and I usually only unroll it when I want to do anything with it.
What is happening is that when the unroll button is pressed, the whole player
(main window and playlist) will go down to a distance from the top of about
the main window's size.
When the window is elsewhere on the screen, it has a 'normal' behaviour.
If you want, I can upload some screenshots somewhere.

Hello,
This bug is unreproductible here. Are you running FVWM ? It really looks
like a window manager issue rather than an audacious' one.
Could you please tell us which window manager you're using, and if
possible give a try with gnome or kde ?
Regards, Adam.

Hi,
This happens at least under Gnome, Enlightenment and IceWM. I haven't tested
this under KDE or other WM/Desktop Environments.
I also submitted this bug to upstream [1], but now they are telling users to
report the bugs to the distributions package maintainers [2]... I guess this
should be the right place to keep on giving feedback.
If you want, I can send you some videos which show the bug 'live'. One is
131KB and the other a 1.1MB ogv file.
Regards,
Pitxyoki

It seems to be working well now.
Unfortunately, the playlist and main window's positions still seem to go to
weird places when I click the tray icon to hide and show them again. I
haven't tested this under other WMs than metacity, so I can't tell if this
is related to bug #526717 or not.

Pitxyoki
