Subject: adduser: "Removing group `nogroup', since no other user is part of it."

Package: adduser
Version: 3.105
Severity: normal

Hi,

$ sudo deluser --remove-home xmppgw
Looking for files to backup/remove ...
Removing files ...
Removing user xmppgw' ...
Warning: Removing group nogroup', since no other user is part of it.
Done.
$

I do not think that it is a good idea to have adduser remove "nogroup"
or any other group that is part of the default install.

Greetings
Marc

Indeed. Can you check if this group still exists on the machine you
encountered this issue?

(deluser currently spits out this warning but does actually nothing about
that empty group ...)

The group still exists, but I do not remember whether I recreated the
group manually.
