Package: audacious
Version: 1.3.2-5
Severity: important
Hi,
when opening a network playlist, say for example:
http://streams.frequence3.net/ogg-112.m3u
http://kawaii-radio.net/listen.m3u
Audacious queries *all* servers listed in the playlist before even
starting playback. This happens even when the "load metadata" option is
disabled.

Hello Josselin,
With audacious 1.4, the whole http backend has been re-written using
libneon instead of libcurl.
That's why I guess it may already be fixed in current version.
Could you please confirm this wrong behavior with current sid package or
confirm it's fixed ?
Regards, Adam.
Bug marked as fixed in version 2.0.1-1.

Josselin,
I tested 2.0.1-1 and the problem seems to be gone. Would you please
confirm (or disprove) this?

Sorry, but I don’t use audacious anymore, I’ve entirely moved all my
music playback to rhythmbox.
Cheers,
