newt uses dlerror w/o linking to libdl. The attached patch fixes this.

Background: This fix is needed to fix d-i to work again on sparc, alpha,
and s390. To fix bug #433874, we're going to have to make mklibs take
symbol versions into account. The way newt is linked, information 
about symbol versions from libdl are not available, which will break the 
new version of mklibs. This doesn't just affect mklibs; linking binaries
w/o symbol versions can break them down the road, if a new version of
the symbol is added to the library.

I may or may not NMU for this, depending on time issues and whether I
actually get the rest of the mklibs issues sorted out. If you would like
the NMU I have prepared, just let me know.

As with slang in #316525, newt needs to include a symbol map file in its
pic package. I've attached a patch fixing both issues reported in this
bug report.

Having this fix in the archive is quite important for the
debian-installer.  Could you do something about it (or tell us to do the
NMU)?

newt,
which requires porting the exisitng bidi patches and testing, so I
