[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: icedove
Version: 2.0.0.4.dfsg1-2
Severity: minor
Hello,
when I'm trying to symlink /usr/local/bin/thunderbird -> /usr/bin/icedove
thunderbird fails to start:
holbe@darkside:/home/holbe% ll $(which thunderbird)
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Jan 29 2007 /usr/local/bin/thunderbird -> /usr/bin/icedove
holbe@darkside:/home/holbe% thunderbird
run-mozilla.sh: Cannot execute /usr/lib/icedove/thunderbird-bin.
[1] 30442 exit 1 thunderbird
holbe@darkside:/home/holbe%
The symlinks resolving seems not to work. The readlink $0 statement
applies here as well ;)
Thanks for your work & regards
Mario

I have a patch for this, which fixes multiple links in startup script.

since Icedove 3.0 entered unstable, symlinking of the icedove start
script is possible.
Cheers,
