Hi

I use gettext for localisation of my PHP application. Whenever I change
templates/translation and then regenerate .mo files, PHP instances start
to crash. Most likely they do not detect file change and still treate it
as old one. Restarting PHP solves this.

Can you still reproduce the problem in 5.2.6-3 (latest version in sid)?
If you do, please install php5-gdb and provide a backtrace that can be
forwarded to upstream or that can help us fix the problem.

I can reproduce it with 5.2.6-2, I will upgrade and retest with latest
version, but I don't see anything in changelog what might be related.

I guess you mean php5-dbg?

Well, there's nothing special with -3, but just wanted to make sure
you tried with 5.2.6.

By the way, are you using php5-cgi with fastcgi/fcgid?

Version: 5.3.3-7

Hi,

since lenny is oldstable it will not get any updates now (except
security)[1], I am closing all segfault bugs filled against php5 in
lenny. (This is kind of saying that we don't care much about php5 in
lenny anymore).

If you believe the bug is still there, please provide evidence[2] and
a (preferably complete) test case with up-to-date squeeze (and/or
testing or unstable) version of php5 and reopen the bug.
